The All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged Nigerians to disregard reports that it has granted automatic tickets to all its serving members in the National Assembly ahead of the 2027 General elections.
Felix Morka, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, in a statement on Tuesday, described the report as fake.
“Our attention has been drawn to a purported breaking news report tagged ‘APC Grants Automatic Tickets to All National Assembly Members’ in viral circulation. The report is FAKE NEWS and should be disregarded in its entirety as it did not emanate from our great Party”, he declared.
Morka also called on party members and the general public to ignore the claims, insisting the information was of “mischievous origin”.
“The APC has yet to release official guidelines or procedures for the selection of its candidates for upcoming elections”, he clarified.
