Nigeria’s global music icon, Burna Boy, has just taken delivery of a brand-new McLaren Senna — reportedly costing ₦3.5 billion — in a grand unveiling at AbujaCar dealership. The video clips circulating online show crowds gathered to witness the sleek, black hypercar being unloaded and presented to the artist
The Senna is McLaren’s extreme track-focused model named after legendary Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna.
It features a 4.0L twin‑turbo V8 engine producing roughly 789 hp, paired with ultra-lightweight engineering and massive aerodynamics — capable of sprinting from 0–100 km/h in approximately 2.8 seconds.
This newest addition cements Burna Boy’s reputation as one of music’s most extravagant collectors of exotic cars in Africa.
It follows his earlier Bugatti acquisitions (Chiron/W16 Mistral), making this Senna stand out as a bold and exclusive statement.
