Turkish football expert reveals why Victor Osimhen may accept deal from Saudi Arabia

Turkish football analyst Onur Tugrul has revealed that Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen may be open to accepting lucrative offers from Saudi Arabian clubs due to his deep sense of ‘personal responsibility and strong attachment to Nigerian culture.’

Speaking in an interview with the Vole YouTube channel, Tugrul claimed that Osimhen’s circumstances differ significantly from those of other high-profile players, such as Edin Dzeko, who previously turned down big-money moves to the Middle East.

“Edin Dzeko rejected an offer worth three times more from Saudi Arabia before joining Fenerbahçe. However, Victor Osimhen’s situation is different,” Tugrul explained.

“Osimhen supports hundreds, possibly thousands of people back in Africa. He comes from a background where people live in very crowded environments and depend on him.”

Tugrul also highlighted Osimhen’s unwavering connection to his roots.

“Even when he goes out at night, he’s always surrounded by a group. He doesn’t dine at Turkish restaurants—he only eats Nigerian food,” he added.

These cultural and personal factors, Tugrul suggested, may influence Osimhen’s decision should he receive a substantial offer from Saudi Arabia.
