A 4-year-old child was so upset after his mother ate his ice cream that he called 911 and asked for police to “come get” her.
“My mom is being bad,” the 4-year-old said when the dispatcher answered his 911 call.
The dispatcher asked multiple times for the child to explain further, but he just said, “Come and get my mommy.”
Luckily the mother grabbed another phone in the home before the child accidentally incriminated her.
“Oh, this little one got the phone and he’s four,” she told the dispatcher. “We’re trying to catch him because he said he was gonna call 911.”
“I just told her to put her to jail,” the child said. “So leave me alone!”
“I ate his ice cream, so that’s probably why he’s calling 911,” the mother said as the dispatcher laughed.
By the time officers arrived, the child had changed his mind about wanting his mother to be imprisoned.
To try to make it up to the child, police brought him a surprise delivery of ice cream the next day.
