Suspected armed robbers have killed a yet-to-be-identified man moments after leaving the bank where he had gone to carry out a transaction.
According to reports, the robbers trailed the man from the bank up to Phase II, Lokongoma right in front of the market where they double-crossed his car, dragged him out and rained several bullets on him. The assailants then carted away a bag full of money which he had earlier withdrawn from the bank.
The state police command is yet to comment on the unfortunate incident.
