Lady bags four months imprisonment for assaulting KAI officials who arrested her for failing to use a pedestrian bridge 

A young lady has been sentenced to four months imprisonment for assaulting an official of the Kick-Against-Indiscipline in Lagos after she was arrested for failing to use a pedestrian bridge.

The state Commissioner of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed this on X this evenng.

He shared videos of some suspects arrested earlier today and wrote;

‘’46 persons were earlier today arrested by the operatives of Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (KAI) @LAGESCOfficial

for not using the pedestrian bridge and crossing the highway in Oshodi Oke and Ile Epo. They have been charged to court for prosecution.

 

A lady who was also arrested for not using the pedestrian bridge, assaulted and tore the uniform of an official of KAI at Ile Epo bus stop, has been sentenced to 4 months imprisonment.”
