UCL Round Of 16 Draw (December 11, 2017 @ 12noon)

Manchester United, Chelsea, Man City, Tottenham and Liverpool are all confident of reaching the last-16 of the competition following a strong opening from each Premier League side so far.

Some teams have had it easier than others up to this point, but the knockout stages will be the real rest of their mettle as Europe’s best sides focus their attentions on the ultimate prize in European club football.

When and where is the draw?

The draw will take place in Nyon, Switzerland on December 11. The ceremony is scheduled to start at 11am GMT.

Key points

a. There will be two seeding pots: one of the group winners, and the other of runners-up.

b. No team can play a club from their group or from their own association – that means Premier League clubs avoid each other until the quarter-final stages, should any of them get that far.

c. The seeded group winners will be the away team in the first legs on 13-14 and 20-21 February, and have home advantage in the second legs on 6-7 and 13-14 March.
